Welcome to Kabaka Foundation California Chapter

The Kabaka Foundation California, a registered Not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting education, health, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation. The Foundation carries out its activities within California and extends its efforts to Uganda, particularly focusing on supporting vulnerable communities.

The Kabaka Foundation was an initiative of the Baganda community living in California, who recognized the need to establish this foundation to address the most pressing needs of black communities living in California and also vulnerable communities in Uganda.

The kabaka foundation was established on 13th  April1996 and on 28th April 2024, the Foundation was officially launched with Prince Jjunju Kiweewa of Buganda Kingdom as the guest of honor. The Kabaka Foundation’s initiatives include health fairs addressing HIV/AIDS, mental health, non-communicable diseases, sanitation and hygiene campaigns, and blood donation drives. The Foundation engages in fundraising activities to support health, education, women and youth empowerment, philanthropy, and Kabaka’s Trail activities in Buganda and Uganda.

Mrs. Musoke Prossy coordinates Kabaka Foundation programs as the Executive Director, supported by a ten-member board with diverse professional backgrounds, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
